DIRECTIONS TO EAST HADDAM:

Visitors coming from the South: (Shoreline, New York City)
Take Interstate 95 to Route 9 North, to exit 7. At the end of the 3 mile exit road, take a left at the blinking stoplight. .Follow Route 82, taking a right at the light in Tylerville and across the Connecticut River swing bridge into East Haddam Village Center.

Visitors coming from the North and West: (Hartford, Bradley Airport, Western Mass.)
Take Interstate 91 or Interstate 84 to Route 9 South, to exit 7. At the end of the 3 mile exit road, take a left at the blinking stoplight. .Follow Route 82, taking a right at the light in Tylerville and across the Connecticut River swing bridge into East Haddam Village Center.

Visitors coming from the East: (Norwich, Boston, Providence, Eastern Mass.)
Take Route 2, to exit 16. Follow Route 149 South, continuing straight at the stoplight in Westchester. Route 149 brings you into the Moodus section of East Haddam.

Scenic drive from the Casinos:
From I-395 North, take exit 80 onto Route 82 West. Follow about 30 minutes through residential and scenic areas into the North Plains section of East Haddam, then into Lyme. After taking a right on Route 82 at the Hadlyme 4 corners, you'll head back into the south section of East Haddam.

IN-TOWN ORIENTATION: Once in East Haddam, Route 82 will lead you to many of the attractions and state parks in the central and southeastern portions of town. Route 149 or route 151 will lead you to the attractions and recreation in the Moodus section of town (north and west).
